On August 29, 2016 the Federal Aviation Administration’s new Small UAS rule (referred to as Part 107) went into effect. The rule requires a remote pilot to be certified through the FAA if they choose to operate a small unmanned aircraft (aka “drone”) for commercial purposes of any kind. In addition to being certified, our pilot holds a Private Pilot certificate for manned aircraft. When you hire Prairie SkyCam, you can be assured you are hiring someone who is well aware of the new FAA regulations, airspace rules, and other factors related to safely and legally flying “drones” in the National Airspace. We’ve edited thousands of aerial photographs over the years.

Instead, you contact us and schedule an appointment, then we photograph your project when you’re ready and the weather is optimal. 360° panoramas, also known as virtual reality panoramas, are becoming increasingly popular as marketing and planning tools. Virtual Tours utilize multiple 360° panoramas allowing people to explore many areas “virtually”. They can navigate using custom elements such as interactive maps or by clicking on “hot spots” within each panorama. Clicking on a map location or hot spot displays the corresponding panorama and “virtually transports” them to the new location.
